Extrapolation of fuzzy values from incomplete data bases

This paper presents different approaches which enable a data base management system to obtain a plausible fuzzy estimate for an attribute value of an item for which the information is not explicitly stored in the data base. This can be made either by a kind of analogical reasoning from information about particular items or by means of expert rules which specify the (fuzzy) sets of possible values of the attribute under consideration, for various classes of items. Another kind of expert rules enables the system to compute an estimate from the attribute value of another item provided that, in other respects, this latter item sufficiently resembles the item, the value of which we are interested in; then these expert rules are used either for controlling the analogical reasoning process or for enlarging the scope of application of the first kind of expert rules. The different approaches are discussed in the framework of possibility theory.     

Discrete singular convolution and its application to the analysis of plates with internal supports. Part 2: Applications

Part 2 of this series of two papers presents the applications of the discrete singular convolution (DSC) algorithm. The main purpose of this paper is to explore the utility, test the accuracy and examine the convergence of the proposed approach for the vibration analysis of rectangular plates with internal supports. Both partial internal line supports and complex internal supports are considered for 21 square plates of various combinations of edge support conditions. The effects of different size, shape and topology of the internal supports and different boundary conditions on the vibration response of plates are investigated. The partial internal line supports may vary from a central point support to a full range of cross or diagonal line supports. Several closed‐loop supports, such as ring, square and rhombus, and their combinations are studied for complex internal supports. Convergence and comparison studies are carried out to establish the correctness and accuracy of the DSC algorithm. The DSC results are compared with those in the available literature obtained by using other methods. Numerical results indicate that the DSC algorithm exhibits controllable accuracy for plate analysis and shows excellent flexibility in handling complex geometries, boundary conditions and support conditions. 比较了几种长距离传动方式的特点与适用场合，重点探讨了实现长距离精密传动的技术要点。结合实际工程，完成了长距离钢带精密传动的应用，并指出张紧机构的设计与应用是钢带实现长距离精密传动的关键。为此文中对钢带传动的典型张紧机构进行了比较，并分析了这几类张紧机构的应用情况，有参考和应用价值。

以姚河坝水电站引水隧洞50°倾角、长度为194.734m的斜井开挖为实例,从施工测量、开挖方法、通风防尘、临时支护斜井及安全施工等方面探讨长洞身、大倾角斜井在无爬罐条件下的人工开挖方法.

用面向对象方法建立人事信息系统

应用先进的面向对象设计方法开发了技术中心人事信息系统，采用E－R数据库建立了数据库逻辑模型，通过VFP语言设计了友好直观的用户使用界面。实践表明，新开发的人事信息系统速度快、容量大，操作性强，对实现信息管理标准化，尤其是人力资源的动态管理和科学决策具有很强的实用性。     

浅谈小鹤立河水库兴利调度图的编制

针对小鹤河水库来水情况及需水要求，确定该水库调节方式为多年调节，通过该水库兴利规划调度原则进行长系列法多年调节计算，依据选定的兴利调节计算结果，绘制水库兴利调度图，供水库管理部门在水库运行期间正确调度运用，合理利用水起到指导作用。     

Semiparametric Estimation in Time‐Series Regression with Long‐Range Dependence

Abstract. We consider semiparametric estimation in time‐series regression in the presence of long‐range dependence in both the errors and the stochastic regressors. A central limit theorem is established for a class of semiparametric frequency domain‐weighted least squares estimates, which includes both narrow‐band ordinary least squares and narrow‐band generalized least squares as special cases. The estimates are semiparametric in the sense that focus is on the neighbourhood of the origin, and only periodogram ordinates in a degenerating band around the origin are used. This setting differs from earlier studies on time‐series regression with long‐range dependence, where a fully parametric approach has been employed. The generalized least squares estimate is infeasible when the degree of long‐range dependence is unknown and must be estimated in an initial step. In that case, we show that a feasible estimate which has the same asymptotic properties as the infeasible estimate, exists. By Monte Carlo simulation, we evaluate the finite‐sample performance of the generalized least squares estimate and the feasible estimate.
